VEG MASALA IDLI

Ingredients :

 1 bowl idli batter
1/2 cup mixed veggies (carrot grated, potato grated, red & green bell pepper finely chopped, cabbage finely chopped, beans finely chopped)...
1 onion finely chopped
1 tomato finely chopped                        
2-3 green chillies finely chopped
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
Coriander leaves chopped
1 tbsp oil
Salt as required


Method :

 1. In a pan add oil. When oil heats add mustard seeds. After they crackle add turmeric powder,onions & tomatoes.


 2. When tomatoes become soft add chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala.

 3. Mix together & cook for about 2-3 mins.
4. Add the veggies & required salt. Cook covered on medium flame.

 5. After the veggies are cooked switch off stove & add coriander leaves & mix. Allow to cool.

 6. Now mix the veg masala with idli batter.


 7. Grease idli moulds with sesame oil & fill with the batter.


 8. Steam the idlis.
9. Serve hot masala idlis with any chutney of you choice.
