PANEER PEAS AND CHEESE STUFFED POTATO BALLS

Another Kid's Snacks Recipe
PANEER PEAS AND CHEESE STUFFED POTATO BALLS

Ingredients :
3-4 potatoes boiled & peeled
1/4 cup boiled green peas
1/2 cups grated Paneer
1 onion finely chopped
1/4 cup grated cheese
3-4 green chillies
1 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1 1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1 egg beaten ( or maida/ all purpose flour)
Bread crumbs
Oil for deep fry
Salt as required
Dip:
2 tbsp fresh cream
2 tbsp Mint-coriander chutney


Method:
1. Take boiled peas, green chillies, cumin seeds & 1/2 tbsp garam masala in a blender & grind to a coarse paste without adding water.











2. In a bowl add cheese, onion, peas paste, grated Paneer & salt. Mix together.


3. In another bowl take mashed potatoes, chilli powder, garam masala, cumin powder & salt. Mix together to make a soft dough.


4. Now make small balls out of paneer -peas mixture. Keep aside.


5. Make balls out of potato mixture & flatten it out on your palms to make patties. Keep the paneer-peas ball on it & close on all sides with potato patties. Smoother the balls by rolling.

6. Take beaten egg(or maida/all purpose flour paste) in a bowl & bread crumbs in another bowl.
7. Now dip each potato ball in beaten egg & then roll over bread crumbs.

8. Heat oil in a pan & deep fry the balls till they become golden. Remove on a kitchen tissue.
9. Mix Ingredients under 'Dip' to make a dip for the rolls.
10. Serve hot with the dip or any sauce of your choice.
